Susanne LoFaso began her music career with strong roots in classical music, training as a classical pianist from the age of 7. Her love of piano and harmonies led her to sing with and eventually conduct the acclaimed choirs at St. Patrick’s RCC and Gettysburg College.
Throughout the years, she has performed in several bands, wedding ceremonies, and private affairs. Susanne used her classical piano training and her vocal skills during the talent portion of the Mrs. New York America pageants in 2006 and 2007, where she placed as a Top 10 Semifinalist.
Susanne is currently a member of the Chiclettes, and is enjoying their busy touring schedule. The Chiclettes have performed with their band at numerous concert venues across New York State, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Alabama.
Susanne also provides backup vocals for such artists as Bobby Brooks Wilson, Emil Stucchio, Mel Carter, Fred “Blue Moon” Johnson, Gene Chandler, Dickie Lee, The Safaris, Jimmy Clanton, Kid Kyle, and Cleve Duncan. Susanne is thrilled to be sharing the stage with the incredible Vincent Roccaro, and performing the jazz standards she loves.
Her beautiful renditions of songs made famous by Natalie Cole, Keely Smith, Peggy Lee, Sarah Vaughn, and Ella Fitzgerald show her versatility, and her duets with Vincent give audiences a fresh take on songs by Sinatra, Louis Prima & Keely Smith, and Michael Buble.
Like Bobby Darin, Vincent Roccaro wants to “try it all.” It was in 1959, first with “Dream Lover”, then “Mack the Knife” and “Beyond the Sea”, that Vincent became an admirer of Bobby Darin. Vincent incorporated Bobby’s rock tunes into the repertoire of his first band, in which Vincent played guitar and was the lead vocalist.
As his musical career progressed, Vincent’s preferences expanded to include the classic rock and R&B music of the sixties. In 1966, he joined a band called LTD as the lead vocalist and guitarist. After obtaining management, LTD was signed by CBS Records in 1967.
During his musical journey, Vincent has performed on television and radio, and has performed at concert and other live music venues throughout the tri-state area and Florida. Most recently, Vincent has returned to his roots: the great standards of the big band era. He is performing his unique vocal stylings of songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Louis Prima, and Bobby Darin.
Vincent has shared the stage with such stars as: Mel Carter, Gene Chandler, Jimmy Clanton, Charlie Thomas, Jay Black and many others. He takes great pride in surrounding himself with the best and most talented musicians, and has performed with such jazz notables as Jerry Weldon, Brian Lewis, Wayne Sabella, John Ray, Jim Waddell, John Marshall, Frank Bellucci, Mike Sagarese, Tim Regusis, Mike Boscarino, and Chris Rinamann.
Vincent is especially proud of Vintage Bliss and his collaboration with Susanne. The chemistry that Susanne and Vincent share on stage is contagious, and their appeal to audiences is undeniable.
